The Appaloosa is an American horse breed that is best know for its colorful, spotted coat. Originally bred by the Nez Perce people of the Pacific northwest, Appaloosa's were called "Palouse horses" (in reference to the Palouse River) by settles to the area. The name eventually evolved in Appaloosa. Selectively bred for their color and versatility, Appaloosas exhibit a wide rand of body types, stemming form the influence of multiple breeds of horses throughout its history.
The Freedom Series singles are a 1:12 scale model, and are authentically crafted and hand-painted, making them an excellent choice for young collectors.
