On August 30th, 2019 Irish Olympic show jumper Kevin Babington experienced a tragic fall at the Hampton Classic which resulted in a spinal cord injury to his neck. In support of Kevin's recovery, Essex Classics created show shirts featuring the Babington Strong trademarked logo. Designed by Jenn Shaw of Unique Equine Designs, the "Babington Strong" Talent Yarn Wrap Collar Show Shirt promotes the spinal cord injury awareness ribbon in Irish colors. Essex Classics donates a generous portion of every sale towards Kevin's recovery.
The "Babington Strong" Talent Yarn Wrap Collar Show Shirt is constructed of cool, refreshing nano-tech fabric with natural comfort stretch. Under sleeve mesh ventilation panels keep riders cool and comfortable, while the tapered body with back darts provides a flattering fit. The interior trim of the wrap collar and sleeve cuffs feature either fun zebra or carrot trim detail. Additional features include anti-bacterial and deodorizing elements, UV sun protection and Scotchgard stain resistance.
