• Based on two and half years' of scientific research, the Rio Headcollar was commissioned by the BEF to improve the comfort of Team Great Britain horses during the long journey to Rio for the 2016 Olympics.
• The Rio Headcollar features the Fairfax headpiece which significantly reduces pressure and enables the horse's swallow mechanism to operate comfortable when eating or drinking during wear. 
• Cushioned with pressure-absorbing Prolite on the headpiece, cheek pieces and noseband, the Rio Headcollar is 30% lighter than most other travel headcollars generally used. 
• The Rio Headcollar is hand made in Fairfax's Walsall factory from Sedgwick's first selection leather using quality brass fittings.
