R.J. Classics was founded in 2000 by Roberta “Bobbie” Weintraub. Bobbie came from an apparel background in New York, where she learned the importance of tailoring, fine craftsmanship, and attention to detail. She was also the mother of an avid junior rider and was having trouble finding equestrian clothing options that fit her daughter’s needs while staying within a budget. Seeing the potential demand from a broader riding audience, Bobbie used her knowledge of the tailored clothing world to launch the R.J. Classics equestrian brand. The goal was simple, to make the highest quality, best-fitting show clothing in a broad range of sizes and at accessible prices. 25 years later, those same principles still guide everything they do.
