Sona Equestrian

Horses have always been a part of Darlene Ivey's life. When she wasn't riding them or daydreaming about them, she was drawing them. 

Renowned for her watercolor and oil paintings that capture the natural beauty of horses and ponies, Darlene's work is showcased through Sona Equestrian, offering original art, prints, apparel, and gifts inspired by equestrian themes. 

Among her notable contributions is the "ABC Horse Breeds Book," which highlights various horse breeds through her distinctive artistic style. Ivey has also participated in the Carolina Horse Park's Painted Ponies Art Walk, creating life-sized painted pony sculptures displayed in Southern Pines, NC. Her creations, such as "Between the Ears," "Ponies in the Pines," and "Breathe Wings," have been featured in multiple editions of the event.
