Samshield's adventure began in 2003, when Sam Maloigne, a former motocross rider and himself a horseman, felt a need for improved safety and comfort in the equestrian equipment of the time. He invisioned creating innovative helmets that guaranteed optimum protection without compromising elegance.

In 2006 Samshield launched its first helmet, marking the start of a revolution in the equestrian world. Over the years, the range has grown to include clothing, bags, products and iconic helmets such as the XJ and 2.0, each designed with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
