Founded in 1940 by a group of dedicated American Quarter Horse breeders and owners, the AQHA has grown into the world’s largest horse breed association. With over 225,000 members and over 6 million Quarter Horses registered worldwide to date, it’s safe to say the AQHA has ensured that this hardworking and versatile breed is thriving!
This special anniversary model was created on the Ideal American Quarter Horse sculpture, and features a unique metallic silver coloring that gives it a trophy-like appearance. The Best Remuda Award honors the ranches that bred quality horses that were athletic, versatile, sound and good-minded – the foundation stock of this highly popular breed. A tribute to the ranches and working horses that helped build the AQHA into the association it is today, each brand featured on the model’s coat represents an AQHA Best Remuda Award winner. This special-edition model has “AQHA 85th Anniversary” on its belly.
