- ProSeries Derby Pelham Bit was developed in partnership with top riders and equine professionals to be ergonomic, comfortable, and effective. The bit encourages your horse to stay light and lifted in front. Many riders choose this style bit for horses that need to lift and balance but won't respond well to a sharp, twisted, ported, or harsh bit. The bit has copper to increase salivation and is thin enough for horses with a thick tongue or low palate.
