Size

Avaiable in two handy sizes, Smart Grooming's Mane & Tail Brush makes it easier to choose the right brush for your horse or pony. The Small Mane & Tail Brush is ideal for ponies, smaller hands and brushing through manes, while the Large Mane & Tail Brush is well suited to thicker, fuller tails and larger horses.

Both Mane & Tail Brush sizes feature a wooden paddle-style back with slightly flexible bristles that gently work through aggravating knots and tangles, while helping to minimise hair breakage. For the best results, Smaet Grooming recommend using the brush alongside a good-quality detangler.

Size & Fit

Sizes:

  • Small - 19.5cm (full length) x 6.5cm (brush head)
  • Large - 24.5cm (full length) x 8.5cm (brush head)
Instructions for Use

For best results:

  • Spray the hair with detangler, then gently brush through in small sections.
  • For thick tails, start at the bottom and gradually work upwards, brushing downwards as you go. Once the larger tangles have been removed, divide the tail into smaller sections and carefully brush through each one.
