Well known in dressage circles, Dr. Heuschmann is admired for his forthrightness regarding what he sees as the detrimental training methods commonly employed by both riders and trainers incompetition today.

Riders in Dr. Heuschmann's clinics have experienced nearly instantaneous beneficial changes in their horses and riding and he has helped many horses with mystery (rein) lameness as well as other training issues.

“Some horses are being trained with mechanical and technical
devices in the shortest time possible... the goal of training should be to
further the horse’s capacity to perform and optimize his physical
beauty as well as his overall well-being by taking enough time.”
      Dr. Gerd Heuschmann

We will hosting both symposium and training day rides, as well as both symposium and training day audits.  Symposium rides will include a same day audit and lunch with be included with the symposiums.  Lectures will be held in a climate controlled room and Dr. Heuschmann's books will be available for purchase.

"Not everyone considers all that the horse must carry around:  a crooked pelvis, back pain, frustration with school or job, relationship issues, and extra pounds.  Whoever takes the trouble to think about this can only marvel at the extent to which most horses make up for their rider's deficiencies"
          Dr. Gerd Heuschmann
