Collection: Saddle Consignment

If your dream saddle no longer fits you, your horse or your dreams, we can help with finding it a new dream home.

M & M Tack shop proudly carries a carefully curated selection of pre-owned Close Contact, Jump, All Purpose and Dressage saddles. Consigned saddles are shown in-store, are posted on our website and are promoted online via emails, Facebook and Instagram. All consignment saddles are available for both local and shipped 5-day trails. Our highly trained saddle fitters travel throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia and can bring saddles for you to try from our extensive consignment saddle collection

We accept gently used saddles on a case by case basis.  Saddles must be in good repair, clean and free of mold and mildew. We can not accept any saddle with mold, mildew or in need of repairs. Once we have received your saddle it will be inspected, researched and priced by our our certified saddle fitters. Please note that this process can take up to 10 days.  The saddle owner is responsible for transporting the saddle to and from M & M Tack Shop and for notifying us of any address changes. Please note that saddles brought to M & M Tack Shop before we have emailed approval will not be accepted.

Our consignment fee is 25% of the selling price, with a minimum consignment of $350. A cleaning fee of $50 will be deducted from your consignment check for initial deep cleaning/conditioning, general maintenance and care after trials.

If your saddle has not sold in 120 days, activity will be reviewed and we may suggest a price change. You may pick up your saddle at any time.  However, if you choose to pick your saddle up less than 90 days after being consigned, there will be a $75 fee to cover costs (photography, marketing, ect.) incurred by M & M Tack Shop.
