Fairfax Performance saddles are the only saddles to be scientifically tested with pressure mapping under the saddle and under the rider, combined with simultaneous two-dimensional and three-dimensional analysis of both horse & rider.
The changeable R-Bar gullet bar allows the saddle fitter to choose the width fitting that best suits the profile of the horse’s withers. The gullets can be changed quickly & easily as the horse develops or changes shape.

Materials & Care
If you have purchased your saddle new, it will come with a tube of Rapide Leather Gel. Apply a generous coat of Rapide before first use, using a soft cloth or sheepskin mitt.
Any dirt etc should be removed with a damp cloth after use.
Re-apply Rapide at least once a week to dry, clean leather. Apply to all surfaces.
Never use wet tack.
Do NOT use any products containing alcohol (such as spray soap), glycerine (eg saddle soap) or oil (including neatsfoot) on this saddle. Any colour loss or damage to the leather caused by these products will not be covered by the saddle’s guarantee.
If your saddle gets wet, allow the leather to dry naturally. Do not use external heat sources.
Check regularly that all four gullet bolts and the two panel screws remain tight.

Saddle Trial Policy
All saddles have the option of a 5-day trial period in order to be checked for proper fit & suitability.Please call to set up your no obligation 5-day trial. From the day of delivery, you will have 5 days to ride in & evaluate the saddle. If you decide that the saddle does not meet your needs, you may send it back in the same condition as received. At the time of the trial, you will be charged for shipping & insurance. At the end of the 5-day trial, if you decide to keep the saddle, you will be charged the purchase price & the sale will be considered final.
Please notify us before the end of the 5-day trial if you plan to return the saddle. If you decide that the saddle does not meet your needs, you will be responsible for return shipping & full value insurance. If we do not hear from you within the 5-day period, the saddle will be considered sold & the sale will be processed. Please note that all saddle sales are final unless a trial has been arranged.
If you need to extend the trial period, you must let us know before the original 5-day trial period is over.

All orders over $99 receive FREE SHIPPING in the continental US, excluding saddles & weighted items over 5 lbs. Additional shipping charges will apply for these items. If you need an order expedited, please call 919.851.0102 (extra charges will apply).
We want you to love your purchase, but if you don’t, it can be returned within 30 days. Returned items must be in new, unused condition & have all original packaging & tags intact. Sale items, bits & personalized items are final sale & are ineligible for return or refunds. Shipping is nonrefundable & orders that received free shipping will have shipping costs deducted from the final refund.
